Establish a defensible reporting foundation
We help define organisational and operational boundaries, collect relevant fuel and electricity records, and document factors, assumptions and data gaps. Scope 1 and Scope 2 reporting structures are developed with reference to the GHG Protocol, including location-based and market-based electricity reporting where applicable. Any missing sources outside utility records are identified.
Assess renewable options
We compare options such as onsite solar, GreenPower, Large-scale Generation Certificates and power purchase agreements. Feasibility considers cost, term, volume and price exposure, certificate ownership and surrender evidence, and the intended reporting claim. Sourcing proceeds under an agreed mandate and approval process.
Plan reductions and track progress
Efficiency and renewable measures are evaluated together to avoid double counting benefits. A roadmap ranks opportunities by cost, delivery constraints and contribution to targets. Quarterly updates track consumption, renewable content, emissions intensity and progress against the agreed baseline.
Keep the evidence behind the statement
Reports distinguish measured data, estimates and scenarios, with records supporting renewable and emissions claims. Methodologies and reporting requirements are reviewed for the relevant reporting period and jurisdiction.
