A site assessment determines whether voltage optimisation is technically credible, operationally acceptable and commercially material. It should also identify when not to proceed.

- Energy, power, demand, operating schedules and material drivers
- Load inventory and voltage-response categories
- Remote, sensitive and critical loads
- Solar PV, batteries, UPS, VSDs, power-factor equipment and existing regulators
- Planned expansions, EV charging and portfolio constraints
Typical monitoring period
The duration is selected to capture representative operating states. A short survey may screen a stable site; a facility with seasonal, production or weather effects may require a longer interval model and additional operational data.
