COMMERCIAL AND LIFECYCLE OPTIONS

Choose how the project is funded, operated and supported

The equipment decision and the commercial model are related but separate. EMSCAP can discuss outright ownership and available managed-service structures, with responsibilities and performance terms defined for the specific project.

Outright ownership

The client funds and owns the equipment, retains the verified benefits and manages the asset under the agreed warranty and service arrangements. The business case should include capital, installation, losses, maintenance, financing, risk and residual value.

Managed-service pathways

Subject to current availability and contracting entities, a managed service may combine equipment, delivery, monitoring, maintenance and performance reporting under periodic payments or an agreed service structure.

  • Define term, payment basis and indexation
  • State the baseline, performance method and exclusions
  • Allocate maintenance, outage and response responsibilities
  • Address ownership, insurance, end-of-term and change-of-use
  • Set data access, reporting, review and dispute processes
Ongoing support

Support can include alarm review, data visibility, technical assistance, planned inspections, settings control, service coordination and periodic performance review, as defined in the service agreement.

Commercial qualification

Availability, financing, accounting and performance terms vary by project and provider. Website copy should invite a structured discussion rather than promise a universal off-balance-sheet, cash-flow or payback outcome.
