PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACTS

Buy utilities with a clear view of cost and risk

EMSCAP supports utility procurement from initial strategy through tender evaluation, contract execution and transition. We help multi-site organisations make informed choices and maintain control as their portfolios change.

Start with a reliable procurement brief

We confirm site and meter records, contract dates, consumption patterns and operating requirements. Sites are grouped by market, state and supply arrangement, including embedded networks and landlord-supplied utilities where relevant. These arrangements are assessed separately where retailer choice is constrained.

Compare the complete offer

We agree evaluation criteria before approaching retailers, then manage requests for proposals, clarification and commercial evaluation. Like-for-like models consider energy rates, network and other charges, price pass-throughs, volume exposure, flexibility, billing, reporting and renewable options. Market outlooks inform timing and scenarios; they are not predictions of future prices.

Support the decision and transition

A recommendation sets out expected costs, trade-offs, negotiation points and implementation responsibilities. We support commercial negotiations with your legal advisers, coordinate approved retailer onboarding and check the first bills against the agreed terms.

Keep contracts aligned with the portfolio

Renewal calendars and site-change workflows support additions, closures, relocations and ad-hoc procurement. Clear ownership and escalation help reduce exposure to unintended default rates and transition delays.

Typical outputs

Procurement strategy; tender pack; offer comparison and risk register; recommendation paper; contract and renewal register; transition checklist. Contract approval and execution remain with your authorised representatives.
